Mr. Kunal Sen, a qualified Chartered and Cost Accountant, having done Advanced Management Program (King’s College, Cambridge) had been on the Board of Directors of several Multi-national Corporates , while guiding Edcons Exports Pvt. Ltd. as the Chairman of the Board , since its inception in 1995, transforming it from a modest venture with a turnover of ₹100,000 into an organized structured globally recognized export house with revenues exceeding ₹1 billion. As Chairman, he is instrumental in guiding the dynamic entrepreneur-Managing Director since his young days, in shaping strategies and building the company block by block into one of India’s leading manufacturer and exporter of leather goods and fashion accessories.
Under his Mentorship, Edcons has grown into an organization employing over 1,000 people and operating from a modern 200,000 sq. ft. office and factory. His strategic foresight also led to the establishment of Edcons Italia S.R.L. in Milan, positioning the company at the global hub of fashion and strengthening its international presence.
Edcons has received several National Awards from the Export Promotion Council (sponsored by Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India) for its contribution to India’s export industry.
